Das Golden Home Hotel erinnert eher an ein Stundenhotel und wird wohl auch grossteils so genutzt.Das Hotel ist im 4. Stock. Es sind relativ wenige Zimmer und eine Rezeption, die dauernd besetzt ist.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel.In naher Distanz gibt es viele Essensmöglichkeiten und einen guten Nachtmarkt.In etwas weiterer Distanz (ab 10min Fussweg) finden sich jenste Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten.

It said it is a non smoking room.The room full of smoking smell. Even the bedsheet, pillow, quilt... when I woke up, I found myself, clothes, hair full of smoke smelling.

The hotel was quite old and for $5-10 more per night, there are much better options in this area. The old ladies at the reception are friendly. But they moved my room twice in the span of 4 days which was annoying. The Wi-Fi was also really bad.

Wifi went down for a bit in the evening, but other than that it was a pleasant stay with very friendly staff.

Pleasant stay with a very warm, friendly and help hotelful staff(not sure whether she is a owner). Just quite a distance from mrt station.

Some hotels around Taipei station within the similar price range have a wash-toilet, bathroom dryer and a refrigerator in each room, none of which, alas, Golden Home was equipped with. Otherwise, good enough stay for a budget.
