The room was decent for our short stay in Kaohsiung. Deceng duze for 2 people. AC worked great, TV had some English channels. Most annoying thing was having to take 2 different elevators to get to the room. But, price fairly matched what we got.

I booked 2 rooms (1 4-person and=1 double) for my parents and me. The rooms are spacious and clean, and nicely maintained. They also provide a fridge, water, and even paper cups + a box of free fruit at the reception. It requires some walking from the MTR but its perfectly within walking distance as its just a straight road and you can see this skyscraper far away. Its also close to some major department stores and good for shopping in Taiwan.Recommendation: Check in before sunset and see if you can see the sunset from your room! Its a nice experience

The staffs enthusiasm to provide a good service is clear. Fruits are provided every day. My room was clean, nice and comfortable. The hotel is located in a very interesting area, that combines peace and convenience. I particularly like the view from the huge glass window. The only thing I would moan a little bit about is the bathroom. First, there was no handle for the showerhead. Second, the water got cold if it ran a little bit longer. Since I have long hair, it was quite inconvenient to wash it. Especially the switch of the bathroom light was linked to the fan, so when the light is on, the fan is on. It got quite cold if the water got cold with a quite efficient fan on at the same time.Amenities are provided but no paper slippers. tho they provide re-useable slippers, which is eco-friendly. However, if you are concerned about hygiene, its better to bring your own slippers.

Beautiful room with lots of space and decent view. The bathroom is a little disappointing and has a weird smell (not very strong but you can smell something, perhaps through the venting). You have to check out on time or they will charge 200NT every 30 minutes. The location is a bit difficult to find, too. It uses a different entrance than the regular hotel in the building. You will first go to the 12th floor, and there you can find little shops, 85 Sky hostel is one of them, although their English name has been updated (forgot what it was), and yes they do have another English sign says 85 Sky Hostel but its very small. Once you find that store you are good to go.

The view I stayed in was really nice! 85Sky Hostel has really good service and the staffs were super helpful, they helped us book a bus to kenting and introduced us to places to eat and go. 85sky tower is a pretty convenient place to stay, its near the subway and a night market. Really recommend everyone to stay here!

You get what you pay for and more. For $20-30 a night, all basic needs are given. 2 bottles of water everyday, clean towels and a clean bed. It’s just a little confusing at first to get to the 12th floor reception since there are a lot of other hostel company reception offices there.

Clean and spacious. There is a 7-11 at 12 floor whee the main office is located here. Plenty of shops nearby within walking distant.

The staff was very helpful. I appreciate the links they went to to help me.When I couldn’t find the hotel, they came and got me personally. I really appreciated that.

Room looks old and run down. Provides basic toiletries and comfortable. Cant ask for much if only requesting for a good rest.

The room was dirty. I saw hair on the bed sheet and blanket when i checked in. I requested for housekeeping every morning but the hair on the floor in the toilet was not cleared and the floor mat was also not changed although it was wet ! the Air conditioner window panel was so badly stained and dirty. I felt disgusted when i had to stay there for few nights. the location of the hotel was good though.

The room has a great view, it’s clean and comfortable. Except the noises from next door was a bit annoying. Overall I like my room and will love to have same room with my next visit

Not enough of hot water for shower,but good location for bussiness traveler,great view to see the harbor,ocean view.the door is not tight,and did not provide much information for foods,drink,etc

View is good. However, i am expecting newer facility.

Old furniture. need revamp. Asked to change bedsheets but was told that bedsheet need to be requested. I had stayed for 4 days without bedsheets being changed. overall cant say much as pricing was cheap

Got everything needed, convenient and great night sleep.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, GREAT LOCATION NEAR DT

The bathroom shower glass curtains cannot close tightly , shower water can leak out onto the floor outside. The room partition walls & ceiling are poor in sound separation , you can hear the talking or noises next door or above .

Check in at reservation office at 12th floor and our room located at 22nd floor.

The bed is very UNCOMFORTABLE at all!! Very Hard and it make my back pain! I will not stay at here anymore. I will rate it 0 star!!
