We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed to sleep on this firm bed. Breakfast voucher is good to choose either assigned Dante coffee or McDonald in short walking distance from the hotel. You can eat there or bring back to the hotel. Good coffee and tea are provided in the common area in the hotel. Receptionists (Theresa and Ashley) are friendly and helpful. Good Central location and short walk to Central train station with luggages from or to airport.Only one small complaint is housekeeper did not change the towels and vacuuming twice for our seven days stay. If you want to have daily housekeeping, make sure you mention to the receptionist so that they will let the housekeeper knows. We definitely will be back next time.

Unfortunately, this place is more of a hostel than a hotel even though it states it is both hotel and hostel. My husband and I stayed here for one week and it was extremely uncomfortable. Weve never stayed at a hostel/hotel before but because of the great reviews, we decided to book a private hotel room. Our private hotel room was treated just the same as a hostel room. Absolutely no privacy. They dont provide a Do Not Disturb sign, and the housekeeping barged into our room every day without even knocking! Ive never stayed at a hotel that allows their housekeeping to just barge into a guests room. One of those days, my husband was naked and had to rush himself under the blankets to cover up!And whats worse is that the housekeeping doesnt even clean! They barge into your room just to give you new towels. Not once during our week stay did they wipe down the mirrors, or the counters, or vacuum our room. Their definition of cleaning is just providing new towels. Thats it. So throughout the week, we had to wipe down the bathroom shelves ourselves. As for the room, we booked a Double Deluxe Room with a city view, and I guess they consider the side of a brick building a city view because that was our week there. Our double room was extremely crammed, with zero space for walking and the beds were hard as rocks and the air conditioner didnt adjust well. This hotel needs to stop advertising as a hotel, as it is 100% HOSTEL.

Definitely need to use google map for route to hostel from the train station. Location wise, the hostel situated at a well established place which have shopping mall, food outlet, small food stall, convenience stores surrounding. On room condition, please do not bring too much bulky items/luggage as you may find it challenging to utilize the space within the room. Breakfast, I got to rate its above average than those hostel offered during our stay in Taiwan. The boss wont hesitate to go out and buy breakfast shall the serving provided is not enough to cater all the customers.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Das Zimmer war nicht groß, aber man hatte alles was man benötigt. Der Gemeinschaftsraum ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und man fühlt sich einfach wohl dort. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, die man für wenig Geld nutzen kann. Rundum ein tolles Hotel/Hostel in Taipeh. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Hatago is an excellent place to stay for two persons in room. We liked how functional everything was in the room. We especially appreciate the table beside the window and the modern toilet in the bath.

Twing stay is a new hostel, i think they only opened in 2017. The owners are Koreans and half or more of the guests there are Koreans which we were slightly surprised. The rooms and shared bathrooms are really new and clean which was great. However, the water drainage in the ladies shower was slightly slow, hence many people will flood the toilet when bathing. We booked the room for 4, while beds were comfy, the space is really really small. We can only open 1 luggage at a time. Breakfast was really great, there are a few varieties of sandwiches to choose from which are really tasty so do remember to wake up early to snap the sandwiches before they are gone. Another great thing is that the reception desk is available 24hrs there is a staff on standby.

What I didn’t realized when I booked this is that, this place is catered mainly towards Korean tourist. Not a big deal but think twice if you’re looking for English speaking companions in taiwan to do day trips with. Aside from that, the place is clean, the beds are on the former side. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

We spent 1 night in this hotel. The location is perfect, quite close to the Taipei Main Station and Ximending. The hotel is clean and well organized. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Our deluxe double room is small but well-equipped. The windows are very clean (not so common in Taiwan so we appreciated that). We enjoyed our stay a lot. The only thing that was not so perfect for my husband was that the matresses are really hard, but you find these kinds of matresses quite often travelling in Asia.

Location is just less than 10 mins walk to either Taipei main station or Ximending station. Right across there is a 7/11 convenience store and family mart further up. Twing Stay is newly opened while our family were there in Oct 2017. We booked 2 double room and 1 family room. All were very clean and cosy, we stayed there for 4 nights. The family room is wheelchair friendly and the toilet and shower area is huge. Great for family with kids or with wheelchair. There is no problem at all with hot water. Breakfast options were healthy sandwiches, rolls and breads from a nearby bakery store. There were also 2 types of cereals, milk, juices, coffee machine, coffee & tea sachets. Mini fridge were available in our rooms. There was also a household fridge for everyone to use, just remember to label it. We bought a huge cake that we couldn’t finish so were able to utilise it. Guests are also welcome to use the common area, it’s cosy & comfortable. We had takeaway there & you are welcome to make yourself a drink at anytime. Our host, Jason, was very accommodating to let us leave our luggage there before check-in time & also extended our check-out time while we waited for our driver. Even the common toilets, each cubicle complete with shower room and toilet attached (separated by genders) were very modern and very clean. There is a laundry room, washer & dryer, and also umbrellas there for the guests to use as well. Our family truly enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend it!

The room and the bathroom were pretty small. But it worked and it was clean. Nice to have a washer and dryer on site!

Well located hotel, close to Taipei Main Station and Ximending. The room was clean and people very nice.Can be a bit noisy as there are shared room.
